that's my girls!

what would a girl do without her girlfriends?

walkin' in the woods...

Micah and I have had some great afternoon strolls at a local park... here are just a few of the photos I've taken along the way:

touching the "soft" moss

checking out a mushroom beside the path

the wind had blown a HUGE tree across the paved walk

Micah next to the fallen tree

we have fun counting how many squirrels we see in the woods

what a good morning...

These are from September 20 (happy birthday, Monica!)... the sun was coming up and it was raining lightly at the same time. Sure enough, there was a gorgeous full rainbow!

Micah checking it out in PJs (and, of course, his trusty umbrella!)

got it!

after-school activities

We've been trying to stay busy (ha, ha)... sometimes after school it's off to the playground:

tough guy

hi, Mom!

it must be fall

the colder weather has rekindled my interest in knitting...

I finally finished Georgia's "baby" blanket... considering how long it took me to complete it, it's a good thing it turned out to be big enough for a five-year-old!

Adventures in Babysitting

Taylor is good at this pose, also known as: "Just try to get my picture before I put a thumbprint on your lens!"

Here are a few photos from my recent adventures with my three favorite "other" kids:

note to self: while baby-sitting friends' children, try not to let them choke on a ping pong ball... especially while snapping pictures.

couldn't you just eat her up?!

two of Cayden's favorite activities: running around the house and "BALL!"

looking for said ball after throwing it under the couch

Jordan's version of the army-crawl

Jordan outside and Taylor in... a fun game of smush your sister's face

tasty train tracks...

Jordan wasn't quite awake this morning

Cayden's thoughtful look.

the girls are both sitting up on their own now

that's my boy

M just loves to hang out with Yo-Yo... as he says, "Yo-Yo is nice to me. Charlie scratches me." Couldn't put it any simpler than that.
